We are looking for a Director of Client Services to join our growing team. This position will work closely with the sales group to make sure that we deliver the best possible results for the schools which use our services.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for monitoring campaign performance for our major clients.
- Analyzing the different lead sources to determine their relative effectiveness.
- Frequent contact with the schools to make sure our work is aligned with their best interests.
- Work with our marketing department to ensure that the media mix is the best one for our clients.
- Works with management team to achieve company goals and department goals to ensure company success.
- Conducts research for client opportunities to stay abreast of latest online media strategies.
- Some travel required, as the Director of Client Services will have quarterly meetings with many of these clients to review performance.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree.
- 5+ plus years experience in the online industry, preferably in the lead gen space.
- Experience with SEO, SEM, paid search, and display strategies preferred.
- Work which involved analytics, statistics, or related tasks.
- Sales experience a plus.
- Has knowledge of web technologies.
- Very analytical and detail-oriented.
- Strong in Excel, Powerpoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and result-oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Platform Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to be a part of a small but strong development team working on next generation online advertising and marketing platform.
Responsibilities:
- Work well in a collaborative, highly dynamic environment to iterate prototypes quickly and create robust high-volume production applications.
- Ability to work in Agile development environment and come up with quick solutions and execute on them.
- Define, design, and implement complex, multi-tier, SOA oriented software applications focused delivering online content.
- Segment and design system layers to support componentized and layered application development, including user interface, business functionality, and back-end access.
- Must be able to design, code and test independently major features in addition to working jointly with other team members on complex changes.
- Share release management duties on feature rollouts, share on-call responsibilities.
- Specialist domains of interest: UI development with AJAX and similar technologies, SEO/SEM, machine learning.
Qualifications:
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
- 10+ years experience in requirements analysis, design, coding and unit testing of scalable,
- istributed, fault-tolerant web applications in WINDOWS and UNIX environments.
- 8+ years of proven expertise in object-oriented design methodology and application development in Java, J2EE, JSP, STRUCTS, Spring. ColdFusion experience a plus.
- Experience with Tomcat or other J2EE application servers required. Including environment build out and maintenance.
- Extensive experience building Web Services using XML, SOAP, REST, JSON.
- Proficient in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks (jQuery, Prototype, YUI, ExtJS).
- Experience in database development, modeling, and writing complex stored.
- rocedures/udf’s/triggers. Ability to fine-tune existing SQL and administer database systems a plus. Primary focus on MS SQL Server.

Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Development and deployment of complex Web applications. You should have well-rounded experience with an emphasis on backend/server development.
- Develop code for proprietary best-of-breed interactive commerce platform.
- Provide technical design and frameworks for performance optimization, scalability, security, and reusability.
- Manage multiple, concurrent software development projects and ensure quality and timely releases
- Resolve production problems and software release issues; including performance and functionality issues.
- Collaborate with marketing, business development, account management, customer service, and operations to ensure the delivered product meets the needs of the end user.
- Adhere to best practices in agile software development and coding standards; institute change when necessary and appropriate.
- Perform code and database design reviews.
- Evaluate integrating with third-party solutions versus building in-house software to meet business needs for platform enhancement.
Qualifications:
- BS or MS degree in CS required.
- 5+ years experience in software development with 2+ years in Java/J2EE development.
- Solid working knowledge of UNIX, preferably Linux.
- Experience working high volume e-commerce web development applications and tools.
- Expertise with Object-Oriented Design and implementation.
- Experience with SQL; MySQL a big plus.
- Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
- Strong background in relational database.
- Experience in working with blogs and/or community-driven web applications a plus.
